General Motors Truck Company (GMC), formally the GMC Division of General Motors LLC, is a division of the American automobile manufacturer General Motors (GM) that primarily focuses on trucks and utility vehicles. GMC sells pickup and commercial trucks, buses, vans, military vehicles, and sport utility vehicles marketed worldwide by General Motors.
The Pickup Truck Hail Cover for GMC Canyon is universal hail cover protection is manufactured in the European Union. This cover has two parts - an inner quilted mat (fabric pocket) equipped with a protective component made of polyethylene foam (PE foam), which is available in thicknesses of 0.2 or 0.4 in (5 or 10 mm) and an outer highly resistant cover made of robust hydrophobic polyester - 150 g/sq.m. If more protection is needed, a double quilted mat - 2 x 0.4 in (10 mm) can be ordered, which will achieve a maximum protection of 0.8 in (20 mm). Furthermore, additional side protection for doors (optional) with dimensions (length / height): 85 x 40 in (215 х 100 cm) - thickness of 0.2 or 0.4 in (5 or 10 mm) can be ordered.
The sizes are suitable for all model and body type (style) of pickup trucks - single (regular) cab, crew cab, double cab, short bed, long bed, etc. We offer three models (options) of truck covers, which are suitable for pickup trucks - without roll bar, with roll bar and with cap (topper).
The hail protection truck cover is made with:
- high quality coated fabric - hydrophobic polyester (150 g/sq.m);
- protective component (PE Foam) of polyethylene foam with a thickness of 0.2 to 0.8 in (5 to 20 mm);
- additional side protection for doors (optional) with dimensions (length / height): 85 x 40 in (215 х 100 cm) - thickness of 0.2 or 0.4 in (5 or 10 mm);
- elastic cords with hooks and Velcro fastening strips, by means of which through the metal eyelets, the inner mat is fastened to the vehicle wheels and front door handles respectively;
- elastic bands under the front and rear bumpers of the outer cover;
- a drawstring at the base with a plastic stopper (to be tightened at the rear end of the outer cover), in order to fit tightly and securely around the entire vehicle;
- an adjustable belt with buckle - this additionally secures the outer cover against the wind by gripping it through the middle of the vehicle and fastening it to the opposite end;
- a storage bag with a handle and tie at the opening into which the outer cover is placed;
- a storage bag for the quilted pad.
Degree of hail protection: standard + additional protection for corner elements and side protection for doors (optional).
